Dmitri Matheny will be performing with the WSU Jazz faculty during a free, public concert on March 8th. Matheny is a flugelhornist, composer, educator and recording artist. Matheny came onto the jazz scene in the 1990’s and has since released numerous acclaimed albums and has also worked on movie soundtracks like the 2003 film Shade staring Sylvester Stallone and Jaime Fox. His newest album focuses on jazz noir.
